Every car needs fuel to run. Run out of fuel, and the car ceases to function.
 
We believe that the Gospel is to the Church what fuel is to a car. As the Apostle Paul proclaims, “I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16). He also denounces those “having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power” (2 Timothy 3:5).
 
In other words, the Gospel is the means God will use to make his church beautiful.
 
But just what is this Gospel?
